We've been pretty well. Dad is coming off the 'on-call' list at work, which basically means he won't have to work at night when the occasion arises anymore. :) And his bees are happily doing what bees do, despite the lack of time he has to work on them.
Jonathan is on holidays at the moment, and goes back in a week. 'twill be his last term in a school for a while, for as of term 3 I shall be homeschooling him for at least 1.5 years. (lol, would you look at that decimal. I think I've got decimals on the brain....) And that means that he will be attending convention this year as a competitor! How times flies hey. It seems only yesterday that it was *my* first year at convention! It does give one both a joy to see one's siblings coming up through the ranks, but also a sad sort of feeling... knowing that I'm not to compete at a regional convention with my friends again. :( But I dare say, we'll keep in touch. =) So now my time is filled with not only my school work, housework, and preparation for America, but also in buying, finding, and otherwise setting up my brother's curriculum etc. Thankfully, due to my teaching experience last year, I don't feel as unprepared as I otherwise would, but it is still a new experience in many ways.... I mean, whenever I've taught before, the curriculum and the extra-curricular activities haven't been my responsibility, so it's all very interesting. Jonathan has his first choir/convention practice this Wednesday, so 'twill be intriguing to see how that all goes.
This Friday, God willing, Dad, Jonathan and I will be heading up north-ish to camp with some friends over Easter. I'm particularly looking forward to it, as we haven't gone camping since the week before Jonathan had his accident, about 4 years ago. It ought to be fun! =)
I'll try and find some photos now to post. I'm afraid that photography is yet another thing that has slipped by the way in my schedule, but there's bound to be something around somewhere...
Ah, here we go. I found a few random photos tucked away in a folder somewhere. =)
Volleyball practice.

Soap products that I photographed for Mrs. Rusic.
See http://www.cathedralrange.com.au/ for info on the soap. :)
Tree climbing.
Some flowers in the botanic gardens. :)
God bless!
*Definitely* not dull and dreary, so good to catch up on a bit of what you're doing these days. Hope Jonathan enjoyed the choir practice. :-)
ReplyDelete=) Oh good.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. It occurs to me that I intended to call you almost every night this week. And so far I have not. I shall have to amend this directly (or at least sometime today.)
And yes, he certainly did. :)
