Everything's fine here. Things have settled back down into the familiar routine of ‘normal’ life since school commenced. Jonathan’s back at school, bringing home an ever increasing (at least from his point of view) load of homework. And when he’s not doing that, he’ll be playing on his new ‘iPod touch’ that he somehow bought.
Dad’s doing well, slogging away at work (a little more than he’d like sometimes methinks.)
I’m progressing through the last few subjects of year 12 gradually, and trying to keep up with the house work. Having both to do, it would seem, is not particularly conducive to actually completing either one, unfortunately. If I study, the housework gets behind. If I clean, the study gets behind. ‘Tis a bit of a conundrum at times, but I’m sure things will figure themselves out at some point.
I’m still trying to keep up with piano, despite my not having lessons anymore. It appears that it is easier to find motivation to practice when one has a forthcoming lesson on one’s mind. But it’s all good, because I’ve got a convention in America coming up at which I’ll be performing my piano solo and a piano duet too, so that currently gives me satisfactory motivation, I can guarantee you that! ;)
Dad took me and Jonathan on Saturday. It’s the second time I’d been, the first being about eight years ago. It was great seeing all the aeroplanes and the flight acrobatics. Apart from the traffic, it was a lovely outing. (The traffic was *awful*. It took us 30 min in a queue to just leave the car park!)
A few other random and/or things of interest have eventuated recently…
There was awards night, where the year 12 ACE graduates graduated, Moshe and I performed our dramatic dialogue, the choir sang, and other things.
I went to Queensland to visit family.
I went on a rampage of photo taking in Grandma’s garden.
And I *finally* made a successful batch of bread by myself! :D
Anyway, that’s my last couple of months in a nutshell. =)

I loved reading this, Beccy!
