With the federal election coming up, I feel a responsibility as a new voter and more importantly, as a Christian citizen of this country, to come before the Lord God in prayer for the events that will be taking part, and the people involved. I invite you to join with me in a day of fasting and prayer, to dedicate the outcome of the election and this country to Christ, to pray that His will be done, and that He will be glorified....
We will fast-
Time: 20th August, 00:00am to 23:59pm
Location: Australia Wide (and anywhere else for that matter!)
If you aren't able to fast for the entire day, please consider fasting a meal or two, or at least pray as much as you can.
Whatever the outcome, whatever the result, He is sovereign.

Hi Rebecca! :) This is Hannah Tay, from ages ago. :) Do you still remember me? :D I just happened to find your blog through a link from Eloise's blog, and I thought I'd pop a note! :) How did your fast go? Our family helped out at a polling booth near our home helping Family First hand out 'how-to-vote' cards. Surprisingly, quite a few people accepted our pamphlets. :) I'm still (yes, impatiently :D) waiting for the election results... :) By the way, I have a photo of you on my blog! :) (Rest assured, it's not a solo shot - it's the group shot we took at New Life's reunion celebration :D) Hope to hear from you soon.
